How it works

One lantern at a time,
the whole Bible

Every lesson is a lantern on the path. Light one in five minutes. Keep walking and you will have read, heard and remembered every book.

First

Read the passage

No guessing. Each lesson opens with the verses themselves — read them, or tap the speaker and listen. Then the questions make sense.

A lesson opens with Genesis 2:16–18 to read first
Then

Answer and remember

Choose, fill in the word, put a verse back in order, match people to what they did. What you miss comes back later, in a new form, until it stays.

Every day

Keep the flame alive

A streak that grows, a daily goal, quests, gems and treasure chests. The same habit-building play you know — in midnight and gold.

A three day streak celebration
And deeper

Understand what you read

Each unit has a guidebook: the key verse, the background, and a note on how your own tradition reads the passage. The full Bible is always one tap away.

Listen

Every chapter,
read to you

All 1,189 chapters are narrated — 78 hours — and timed to the verse. Tap a verse and the reading starts right there.

  • A warm narrator for Scripture, a clear teacher for the questions, and Pico's own voice.
  • Works in the Bible reader and in every lesson.
  • Try it: press play, or tap any verse of Psalm 23.

    In your tradition

Protestant, Catholic or Orthodox: your canon, your wording of the Lord's Prayer, and notes on how your church reads a passage.

    Ask about a verse

Stuck on a passage? Ask. An AI guide answers with chapter and verse, so you can check everything in the text.

It is an AI and always says so. It does not replace your pastor or priest.

    Questions

    Good to know

    When can I get HolyPico?

HolyPico is in testing right now and is coming to iPhone first. This page will get the App Store link the day it launches.

    Is it free?

HolyPico will be free to start. An optional subscription, HolyPico Plus, is planned for people who want extras such as unlimited hearts.

Which Bible translation do you use?

Lessons and narration use the World English Bible, a modern public-domain translation. In the reader you can also choose the Berean Standard Bible, King James Version, Douay-Rheims, American Standard Version, Bible in Basic English and Young's Literal Translation.

Is it for Protestants, Catholics or Orthodox Christians?

All three, and for anyone who is simply curious. You choose your tradition when you start; HolyPico then follows your canon and your wording of the Lord's Prayer. The lessons teach what the text says and leave doctrine to your church.

Who answers when I ask a question in the app?

An AI guide. It answers from the Bible text with references you can look up, and it always tells you it is an AI. It is a study help, not a pastor, priest or counsellor.

    Are the voices real people?

The narration is generated with a high-quality AI voice and then checked against the text, verse by verse. That is how every one of the 1,189 chapters can be read aloud.
